On the Peljesac peninsula, you\u2019ll find a variety of wineries worth visiting. However, the true \u2018spirit\u2019 of Croatia, Rakija, is found across the country and is definitely not to be missed. This brandy derived from different fruits is the most common alcohol in the country. If Khaleesi is more your type, you\u2019ll enjoy visiting the Fortress of Klis. It is a short drive from Split and the filming location for the city of Meereen.
